Overview
How it works
Our GFRP rockbolts are made from high-strength glass fiber and resin, cured at high temperature into a solid bolt. The thread runs along the full length – left- or right-hand – typically with a 10 mm pitch and a rounded thread form.
Once installed and bonded with anchoring resin, the bolt locks into the surrounding ground. Working together, bolt and rock mass redistribute stress, stiffen the ground and raise its resistance to deformation – increasing its load-bearing capacity. Because the bolts can be cut easily, they are ideal for temporary support in tunnel faces and soft eyes.
